Default ACK! my car caught fire

Almost like a near death experience. I was on my way to Bally's to workout (late at night and no-one around), and I made kind of a hard turn into the parking lot, not even close to squealing the tires either. Then I heard a popping noise and my steering wheel locked up and I immediately turned the car off and glided it into a parking space. After comming to a stop POOF! and i saw clouds of smoke and flames reaching out from under my hood. i popped the hood and the inferno was all over the driver side of the engine bay. I tried to use my jacket to put it out. but i ran cause i felt like something was going to explode if the fire got closer to those injectors I ran inside for help and i yelled fire. and no-one was at the front desk. some dumb *** was just starring at me like "huh?" so i went back to the car to try to attempt to put the fire out again with my jacket and it put itself out before i got there. The damage? well hopefully nothing too bad when i look at it again tommorrow. The airfilter caught fire and is toast. "waste of $35 i spent." the rubber melted inside of the inlet of the supercharger *sigh* and I found the problem. The powersteering fluid hose busted and sprayed all over the hot exhaust headers. So i just got home late at night. im going back to bally's to fix it tommorrow morning since i got 4 hours of sleep last night.

I feel for you though. With any luck though you only burnt small s**t that will be easily fixed.

After getting the fire out and the car cooled down was it able to be started up again? If so you will be alright. If not you have issues!Major issues!

and every time i see a Fireextinguisher at checker or autozone i wanted to get one. But freakin its a little blue NOS bottle for $50. id rather take one from Home Depot for much cheaper and bigger if possible. And watch when i finally do buy the fire extinguisher ill never need it lol. Everything is running back to normal condition. Just scared the bajeezus outa me.

well I am glad that the fire put it self out and your damage is relatively small compared to what it could have been. But honestly, get a fire extinguisher. We drive fords man, you need an extinguisher and a tool box, very least

f***ing ricers have to have NOS on everything they own. It's retarded. They probably have NOS on their f***ing condoms too.
