To hit 11.0 in a 3400lb car (about what your 04 is right?) youll need to be making around 500hp according to this chart...http://www.jason.fletcher.net/tech/combos/pwrcombo.htm to hit 10.5 your looking at almost 600hp.
running 10's is major hard in a DD that will get even half *** fuel economy and will be ok to take to shop rite and stuff, its hard even with a track car without dumping an assload of money into it. Dont forget, when you break into 11 and even mid 12's you start running into problems getting all the power onto the ground as well.
My friend works for Jack Merkel Engines and hes building a BB chevy, and his goal is 10's Its built to make about 700 all motor. Dart race block, 4bolt mains, eagle crank good to something like 1400hp, forged H beam rods, World Products heads. This car will be no daily driver lol

anyways. i think so.
you will need tires as well.
but my '89 notch 5-speed went 12.50's on 4.10's and 75 shot. w/ et streets and LT's .... thats it.
your car is a little heavier, but i think it will hit 12's no probs w/ those mods maybe like 12.80's
