how do u read a trouble code off a 94 sunbird? the obd-II code scanner doesnt work on it right? or can u even read the codes off it

You have to jump the 2 terminals on the data link connector. I believe(if memory serves correctly) it's the ones on the right upper part of the connector. Then the cel will flach the codes.

where would that be located on the sunbird,under steering wheel somewhere,maybe like above the gas pedal near the radio deal?

gimme a bit im searching on it at a sunbird site,thanks for the help tho

Located under the left side of the dash somewhere. Just look around under the steering wheel area. It's black and shaped just like the pic in the diagram.
