Default Need Advice

Ok so I have a 96gt, only 67,XXX miles on it, still a baby, in mint condition. Well its an auto, heres some options im considering, anyone leave your .02.

1.) Swap the tranny for a 5 spd, would cost between 1,000-2,000

2.) PI heads, I found a Stage II kit for 1600

3.) Upgrade the auto tranny, such as full manual VB, and shift kit

4.) Find a Cobra engine or a 5.4, could cost around 2000 for the 5.4, 3000 for the cobra

Any other ideas leave it. This is besides the bolt ons, gear etc. Manual seems funner, and seems like autos cannot do well on the highway, only on a drag strip. I can live with that I guess, but friends race on the highway alot b/c they have FWD. lol @ them. But anyway leave your opinion. I also considered dropping in a better auto tranny.

Of all your ideas I like the 5.4 route. This way,you build the 5.4 and when it's finished you do an R&R and you have a new engine in your car.The tranny choice is hard,I personally like the manual in a sports car but the auto is easier to drive and with a proper build, strong as he11.
