Default Detailed Answer Needed!!

Whats the difference in a Modular and Pushrod engine. Theres more Im sure but I can't remember what the are. I've had my Mustang since last April and I've spent so much time studying other areas Im getting around the the technicality of the motor differences. And from what I know I could guess at the difference but thats not good enough.

other than a huge amount of minor differences, of them all id say the main one being the pushrod is the classic engine design, with one cam... and the modulars have the over head cam setup with the cams resting ontop of the heads...

Everything is different. Nothing is interchangable

yep, everything is completely different. pushrod has one cam in the engine, and one timing chain. modular has one cam for each head with one timing chain each.

The cobra 4V motor has 4 timing chains!
