Default SPONSORS??

Hello all~
I have a 1997 GT in bad need of a lot of upgrades and repairs. I have been barely able to afford simple maintenace for the car, and reading magazines about these gorgeous show cars just depresses me. I know a guy with a jeep( yes yes I know it's not a stang) but he got Disney to sponsor him and got loads of money for mods, and all he has to do is put a bunch of stickers on his jeep.

Does anyone here have a sponsor or sponsors for their mustang that helps on the modification process? I wouldn't mind sporting some logos if it meant some funding for tinkering.

Any input would be great, thanks

that's cool. I just thought I'd put it out there. I mean my car looks great (when it's washed) and is near mint visually, it's just it has a tired tranny (which i'mg onna rebuild sooooon) and an engine that has seen better days.

maybe when I start workin full time I can afford more fun stuff. I'm goin to college full time now and working the rest of the time (about 19-25 hours a week)

beheivjer it looks like you have a collection of stangs!! My 97 is the first of what I hope will be a few too.

really???? I'm 18, working as much as I can at an indpendent auto shop. Have my heart set on being a master technician within 5 years. My girlfriend (who I've been with 2 1/2 years) is studying to be a nurse. She takes to that like I take to cars. How much money she has helped me with my car so far... $0.00... she is not into cars at all, which could be a problem. I have this other girl who is a good friend of mine and totally loves working on cars......

I just gotta give it time. In my eyes right now I do not care what this car ends up needing, I want it to be a show car when I'm done with it. It's a solid base car to start with. Just needs a lil love

mine doesnt help either it comes out of my check and i make sure the bills i need to pay gets paid she does like cars though american muscle sounds good to her. she drive a 97 sable wagon with the duratec that has been worked over nicely. dual flows intake mods various things like that pushing just over 230 hp at the crank. it eats most cars around here without any problems.

that's cool. and yes, that's all he had to do for his Jeep! I asked him and that's what he told me. He was a very honest guy.

Mainly I'm just pi**ed off that as I buy a few parts in anticipation for one repair, five more things start taking a shat, and the parts I am planning to replace before they die start going quicker than expected. Not to mention twenty other bills come up too, and then my car starts runnin like poop.... ::sigh:: I just wish I could maintain it, and drive it. When I bought it, it ran perfect and needed nothing. now that the car knows it's in the hands of a new owner, it's gonna give me heck.
