Default Front end shaking

To be honest, I hate this shaking problem in my front end. My hood shakes, and so does my steering wheel. (Its driving me nuts! :P)

*Alignment is done
*Tires are balanced
*Tie-rods are checked
*Control arms are checked
*Rims are not bent

The shaking only happens when I go above 70, and then settles down a bit at around 80 or so. I really can't figure it out

Please help!!!

u joints or tail shaft bearing. I had the same problem. I was told that I needed an aluminum drive shaft because of the gears I was running. I installed new u-joint into my old drive shaft and it went away for a little while then it came back. I put in the aluminum shaft and it went all away. Now I get a little bit of a shake but it's because my tail shaft bushing in the trans is bad. Just something to look into.

a bad alighment won't cause any kind of vibration or shake i don't know why poeple get a shake in the steering wheel and thing 'bad alignment' if the tires are balanced then ist mostlikly a tire rotate them and see what happens oh btw what size wheels and tires do you have? the bigger the wheel the harder it is to keep balanced.

A broken or separated steel belt inside one or more tires would contribute to this problem.

humm, it cant be a driveshaft problem because he feels it in the steering wheel. if it was the shaft he would feel it in the seat of his pants not the wheel
i think it could be any one of the front end things or a tire that is separated belt. the tie rods are just part of it, check the entire rack, are the mounts good, rag joint from the colomn to the rack the list could go on.
