Hey friends,
I need more power, any body know where I can get a chip for a 2.3L. non-turbo.
run in scca so i am limited as to what I can "legally" do to the motor.

it will probably have to be done on a tuner. you can put a ranger cam in it that will give it a little more pep.

 

Diablo Sport is the only company i can remember making chips for the N/A 2.3L.

What are your limitations? The best things you can do for power, aside from porting and a cam is a header, 2.25" exhaust, gears (depending on whats stock in your car), and all the *little* mods. Other than that, everything else is pretty much useless.

I already have a header. Have port matched the intake and exhaust. can not ( legally ) replacethe cam unless it is (stock), but that thought has crossed my mind. would need to reprogram to take full advantage of the new grind?

thanks, i understand there was a twin plug head used on the ranger. do you know anything about this? will it bolt right up?
