Default mark VII swap

I have a 84 mustang convertable 3.8 v6, and am looking to buy a 85-89 mark VII. Question is will this motor, transmission, front and rear axles (for 5 lug disc brakes) be a pretty staight foward swap. And an average price to have this done by a mechanic? Thanks in advance.

easy swap u can accomplish ur self would be pricy paying a mechanic to do it. look for a 88-92 mark as it uses the same 225horse motor as the mustang!
