Ya i just got a 96 GT 5 speed, when i take off in 1st gear(i have never driven a RWD car before) should the shifter vibrate alot while the tires are spining or trying to gain traction in 1st when i punch it??? This has just been alittle weird for me and i wanted to know if it was normal?

you will be able to feel a little bit of vibration in the shifter throughout the drive unless your idleing.

But that idle shouldnt be anything to make the handle rip out of your hand or anything,, just a tiny shudder, enough to feel is normal.

Im sure you'll get used to it.

 

yeah your gonna get some engine vibration and feed back form there rear through the shifter.
