what is the difference between the gt and the lx? besides the gt being heavier!!
this is just a question i been thinkin about for the past week. so i thought maybe
ill give it a shot n just ask kuz i wasnt gettin anywhere past the wait difference.

 

I dont believe anything. They both have the 5.0 H.O. engine and I believe everything else is the same, but I might be wrong.

Because of the looks. I was just comaring the 93 GT, LX Hatch, and LX Notch, here is what I came up with:
GT -weight - 2834 - 205hp - all have same length, width, height, leg room
LX Hatch-weight - 2834 - 205hp - " "
LX Notch-weight - 2775 - 205hp - " "

Same exact car except looks and the Notch weighs about 59lbs less than the other 2.

 

so a stock 5.0 has 205hp hmmmmm if so i need more 408 stoker kit here i come hahah

 

There is one more difference with the Lx over the GT. Is has to do with the aerodynamics of the two cars. The LX having the egde over the GT. That is why Ford put the Cobra rear bumper cover on the 93. It angles up at the back to have the exact same over hang on the rear as the LX rear bumper cover and thus, with less wind drag, gives the car(LX or 93 Cobra) more top speed.
