I just purchased a 1965 Fastback and it has a bench front seat. I want to change the seat to buckets but I don't want stock '65 bucket seats, I'd rather put in high-back buckets from a newer Mustang. Can anyone tell me what other year bucket seats will bolt directly in my '65 without modifying the car or seats? I'd go as late as '71 if they'll bolt in.

 

you can use any seat 65-73....youll need to swap seat tracks for 71-73 seats though its really easy....a lot of people like to use 1994-2004 seats you just put the stock bucket brackets in place of the late model ones...the 2005+ seats are a little tall without modding the floor pans
