Hello,

A friend of mine wants to rent a Mustang GT for her friend's daughter's 14th birthday on Friday. The Mustang is her dream car so this would make her day.

She checked out Avis and they quoted her $600 for the day. I've looked online and it looks like every place wants you to call/email for a quote.

Is there any place in Atlanta that rents GT's at a reasonable price?

Probably not for a GT, if she could live with the 6 cylinder it would be much cheaper.

 

I will probably have to recommend that to her. I'm just surprised its that much for a Mustang. I rented a BMW 3 series not to long ago for about $150.00/day. It was an insurance rate, but I cannot imagine the standard rate being much higher. Last time I checked; the MSRP for most BMW 3's are normally higher than Mustang GTs.

Does anyone know why the rates are that much higher?
