305.00 ? What is the difference? They both weigh about 21 pounds. That is pretty light isn't it.?

One difference is the chrome wheel is much brighter. An example of polished wheels is a stock GT wheel. The chrome stands out so much more.

Daniel, the chrome finish requires a much more involved process--the piece has to have the chrome applied (and baked I thought) after it has been carefully prepped, whereas the polishing is just done with finer and finer abrasives, then typically clearcoated to protect the finish. So you're paying for the extra manufacturing process (procedure and chemicals) that chroming requires.
And yes, chrome is much brighter than polishing, which is one reason some people stay away from it (too bright for my taste). Also, once chrome gets old enough, it starts to flake off (esp. if it wasn't processed carefully), and the only fix for it is to have the entire piece re-chromed. With polished wheels, you just re-polish and re-clearcoat.
Best,
-j
p.s. -As for weight, 21lbs is pretty decent for an 18x9" wheel, for a 17" wheel it's not so impressive. With the right tire you could keep your entire rotating assembly (well, minus the rotors/hubs) under 50 lbs. a corner, and that's definitely a good thing.

RE: What is the difference between polished or chrome rims?
Thanks guys. I wanted to buy the bullets but I know the polished one is about 100 dollars cheaper. Being that you said the chrome ones could chip maybe I should purchase the polished one. Also I have the optional rim from ford. I have no idea how much it weighs. I was thinking performance wise , meaning I didn't want to weigh my car down too much so I can launch better.

*HIT yours are so shiny I thought they were chrome. How does the weight work here. Are they heavier than the option rims?

Hey Daniel,
Yeah, one_focused_svt's bullits are pretty shiny in those pics--but keep in mind two things. First, picture contrast can amplify the shiny effect on polished metal--so you might want to check them out in person. Second, one_focused_svt looks like he spends some time keeping his ride clean, and that makes a big difference in how well polished wheels look.
If you want to check out other pictures of polished 18" bullits, I have them on my ride. The pics I took (see "camera" button) were taken just as the sun started to set, so again, you'll get different effects out of the lighting in the images. I think my images don't look so bright, but the wheels were clean when I took those shots. Still, I have to also agree with the man in black, I like them much more than chrome. They are quite sharp looking w/o the "bling."
Best,
-j
p.s. -A third thing: (back to contrast) one_focused_svt is running polished rims on a BLACK car, so independent of any camera-effect you're eyes are going to register much more "punch" from that natural degree of contrast...and the result is simply stunning! That car looks great.

My bullits have looked kinda cloudy since I got the thing a month ago. Tried hand polishing them up with Mother's but it did nothing.
This pic is the most natural one I have.. they pretty much look exactly like this to the naked eye...
