Valves
New to Mustangs here. Hoping to get a GT soon and you will probably see me asking a bunch of questions. Thanks in advance!!
Anyway, do all GT's have 3 Valves per cylinder or am I getting this wrong. Can someone explain this and what the V6's have?

Welcome, Yes all GT's have 3 valves per cylinder, (not sure if it's 2 intake, 1 exhaust or 1 exhaust, 2 intake) v6's have 2/cylinder.
The 96-99 GT use SOHC 2v Heads (1 Intake / 1 Exhaust)
The 96-04 V6 use OHV 2v Heads (1 Intake / 1 Exhaust)
The 00-04 GT use PI SOHC 2v Heads (1 Intake / 1 Exhaust)
The '05+ GT use SOHC 3v Heads (2 Intake / 1 Exhaust)
The '05+ V6 used SOHC 2v Heads (1 Intake / 1 Exhaust)
All Cobras use DOHC 4v Heads (2 Intake / 2 Exhaust)
The 96-04 V6 use OHV 2v Heads (1 Intake / 1 Exhaust)
The 00-04 GT use PI SOHC 2v Heads (1 Intake / 1 Exhaust)

That is what it is - one exhaust valve per. Not sure on the V6, but I think they are 2v
