Default pics of our new cop stang

Here's a link of some zip file pics of our departments new mustang gt. It's used for traffic enforcement only. It's a ball to drive.

RP,

Back in the day, cop-cars had special cams/intakes/etc. Is the Copstang unique in this or any other way?

BTW--I'm glad you're having fun driving it! Now maybe you'll be more lenient on over-zealous drivers? [sm=devilangel.gif]

Philostang,

The cop stang is bone stock except for all the pretty lights and cop gear. As you can see the the pics, we had to remove the passanger seat to make room for equipment.

Scooter80,

The stang only cost a little more than a crown vic. You should have your admin look into it if you guys have a traffic unit. They work awsome for traffic enforcement.

I went to Dow High School in Midland. I'm sure glad I moved to Atlanta where you have to drive 80 MPH just to keep up with traffic!

RP,
Boy, it'd be great to have any traffic car that didn't scream 5-0, but 'tisn't in the cards. Admin is not very proactive or cutting-edge at all. What with the usual budget constraints and current Crown Vic parts inventories. Oh, well. I still have MY baby!

Nice cop toys. Shoulda pulled out the back seat too so you could install some more and have your own pursuit / mobile crime lab special.

What's the thing on the deck lid?

I'll be sure to go the speed limit if I go through Michigan! That would be funny to see a fellow stang pulling over another stang. I wouldn't mind being able to drive that car everyday as a job either.
