What is necessary to do when reflashing your computer? I just installed my C&L Intake and now I'm fiddling around with the SCT. I tried plugging it in but it won't read the codes. Am I supposed to disconnect the battery, or pull the fuses like it says? It says to pull the fuel pump and electric fan fuses, which I looked up and appear to be fuse #3 & #41 if I'm not mistaken? If anyone has some insight on this, would be appreciated, thanks,

When you connect the SCT tuner does it power on? If so you just have to scroll through the options. The first time you connect it to the car it should upload a copy of the factory settings to the Tuner.

 

mine didnt upload until i was in the flashing process....
But yeah if your trying just to read/clear codes, plug it in scroll/select i think its read DTC's or something like that.

 

It appears the LCD background came really light, so I had to darken it... Though I did try and scan down on it before this and it never seemed to open up the options to me. I did manage to tune it with the octane tune.. but that's the only tune I could find programmed... I guess that's all you get?

 

who did you buy it from? usually they come with three tunes.
