From the time I told the dealer in Maryland, "I'll take it", 1 hour later I was driving home with the permenant plates on the car. -Joe

Here in Anaheim, it took about 6 weeks to receive the stock plate. Then it took about another 6 or so weeks to get notification that the personalized plates had arrived....

In Michigan I got my vanity plate in less than 3 weeks.

It's a college plate "Michigan State University" that reads:

S TANGT

OR STANG GT

My dealer in North Hollywood said it would take around 6 to 8 weeks. Cali is slow when it comes to plates.

Yep...I am on week 8 for my California personalized plates. Geez...those guys making them in the state pen are slow!

I got the standard plate within 2 weeks of owning the car.
