Default A race with the Police on I-95 in SC

Okay, Just a little story to tell. I was coming back home from the Harley dealership and I came up on a Mach1 (blue with tinted windows). I had no intention of racing, so when I passed I gave him a freindly wave. Could not see in the car, the windows were tinted too dark. About 4 miles down the road, I get boxed in in the fast lane by a SUV and a sedan and I am about 1/4 mile from my exit. Mach1 is about 15-20 cars lenghts behind me. I slowed and mad an agressive lane change and pass on the right. The Mach1 comes up on my driver side rear (he said his intention was to point at me and slow me down). I was thinking he is wanted some so I let hime know I am not a stock GT(Saleen SC) and punched it to 130 or so and left him about 10 cars behind. He gets in my lane and lights me up! Did I S%$t my pants. I pulled over and told him I deserve what I get and did not pled for my life! He gave me a few words and then cut me a break. Thank you "Chickenwing" Look out for a blue Mach1 in the Florence SC area.

I was coming back from GA on thurs. and i saw that blue mach 1 pull a car over. He had three guys sitting on the guardrail while he was looking in the car. The police are scandalous.

I think they should give us a 5 mile warning... they're communists....

That is pretty funny. You didn't happen to see any lights in the grille or dash, anything?

5 mile warning? how about 10? hah. There must have been 10 speed traps between GA and NC. Besides the mustang there was a new impala and a suburbon.

Man...I can just see the faces of the people following..., at first , like wow- look at the 2 gts, then, man look at that thing go, then wtf???a cop??? then the sarcastic laughter...
glad you caught a break instead of having your car towed, and a couple citations to totally wreck your insurability- and glad you shared this- hopefully at least those of us in the Mustang community are forewarned

- just dont share with the bowtie guys that want to try and show up a Ford -heheh

Dont go over 90 in WNC. My mustang is bought and paid for from representing people with speeding tickets around WNC. NC SHP is getting a few dodge Chargers, and they already have some dang fast bikes too. Also, WNC Highway patrol uses VASCAR about half the time, so radar detectors are useless. Be conservative through WNC, and dont get clocked over 90. Its really hard to keep your license.
