Default Driving it like you stole it

Is it hard on our 05 06 Mustang GT's to accelerate fast and floor it sometimes. I can't help it sometimes. It's so damn fun!

One of my coworkers saw me doing just that one day, then stopped by my office to tell she was happy to see that I drove the car the way it was meant to be driven!
I wouln't recommend that you do this EVERY time but once in a while should be fine. If I wanted to go slow I would have bought a Toyota Prius

Having owned a couple of Mustangs in my life...I was never easy on any of them. To be honest, Mustangs tend to take a beating better than any other car I've owned. My '99 saw redline launches with slicks on it. I powershifted it all the time. And constantly ran through the gears like there was no tomorrow.

I broke my Camaro twice in the first 6 months I owned it not being as hard as I was on the Mustangs. I wouldn't worry about your car at all. They're built to be driven like that. Don't be a pansy with it!

thats why you dont buy used mustangs...LOL.

I think its ok to push them...just watch how you push them...they have redline for a reason...red means stop..lol, not keep on going. unless you have modds on your car. doing things like N drops and throwing the car in reverse then into drive to get a burnout and stuff like that not good. but maxing out gears are what these's cars are for.

No, I don't do stupid stuff with it like that lol. I need this car to last. It's my daily driver and I have a 6 year loan lol. It's just when I'm out cruising I can't help but mash the pedal sometimes . I'm just glad my automatic has a rev limiter so I can't get it to rev into the red. Perfect shifting.

If you purchased the extended warranty then "drive it like you stole it" as if the cops were chasing you and you were on your third strike. If not, concider trading it in at 35,900 miles and start the fun all over again.
