I still hurt from the raping, but it's the price one pays for happiness.
Mine's close to $30,000.
Just buy the car and try not to think about the money.

I paid $1500 under MSRP (because I took one off the lot that didn't have everything I wanted, and some wheeling/dealing)

I got everything I wanted...it hurts so good.
Them: "We can't take less than MSRP."
Me: "Where do I sign?"

I got mine for $200 over MSRP--which was still $3,500 UNDER their asking price with dealer options (a rust proofing "system" and interior scotch guard "treatment"). I wasn't going to pay $3,500 for a coat of wax and spray on leather sealer (which is how I interpreted their "systems and treatments").

This was for a car they had on the lot--they're often not cheaper that way, since it gives the dealer the opportunity to claim they have added things to it. I did have a quote from another dealer to help me bargain. I just said I'd walk and purchase from the other dealer if they didn't want to negotiate.

Best,
-j

it all on were you are( i live in s jersey; so as the temp getting higher, so are the prices). Most dealers are jacking the price up over the msrp for the gts (atleast a 1,000); i got my pre gt for 27,200 but the msrp was 29,200. So i got a pretty good deal but at the same time, the owner is family. I think if you look hard enough, you could find a "good" deal, but im not to sure about the $22K. With tages and taxes, its going to be hard not to being paying over 25 (if your lucky). But just go dealer to dealer, and see what kind of prices you could get.

I thought I did alright, but no one had the exact car I wanted, so I ordered one.

MSRP was $32,965 ('06 GT 'vert) and there was a 2 - 5 month wait.

I got it for $31,000. In 5 weeks.

I hope they put all the bolts in!
