Check Engine Light - Air Intake Disconnect

Check Engine Light - Air Intake Disconnect
I have a K & N Air Intake Kit which became disconnected while driving my 5 speed Red Fire '05 GT Convertible. The engine stalled - we reconnected and tightened the rings and all is well almost.
The check engine light is now on, should I be concerned or just have it reset when I bring my car in for it's next service in about 3k. I bought it as is about three weeks ago and had a great trip up from Miami to PA. Had 3800 mi when I bought it, now has 5300. Had it in for oil change and service, everything checked out before the disconnect.
Any info provided would be appreciated.
Thanks,

RE: Check Engine Light - Air Intake Disconnect
Try disconnecting the battery for and hour or so. Then re-connect it and the light should no longer be on and should re-set the check engine light. Do this at your earliest opportunity, the check engine light coming on can de-tune your car and lose performance as a "safety" precaution because it may "think" something is wrong with the car.
