Need Help with Pro 5.0 install
Ok...
I know this was suppose to be an easy install and it was but the damn thing won't shift into 5th or reverse.
1st - 4th work fine. The long bushing is on the driver's side. I was given no instructions.
Do I have something out of order? Can someone provide the instructions.
I haven't forced anything together so I'm sure the shifting forks are ok. There was a bolt that was provided
with the shifter that seems to have no home? Is this used to center the bushings?

Possibly try loosening the but on the bottom where the shifter connects to the shift rod.
Mine didn't come with instructions either, I had to contact Pro 5.0 and have them send it to me. Installed without them but wanted to check my work.

Mine was hard to get over to 5th and R at first, but has eased up over time. It is hard to mess up the actual install. [&:]

Thats what happens when you walk away from the computer and don't remember if you hit send already. [8D]

RE: Need Help with Pro 5.0 install
I called pro 5.0. They had me take the shift rod off the shifter and wiggle it around. Guess it was bound at the place it engages the tranny.
Put it back together and its all better now. Thanks for your replies.
It's still a little tight around 5 & R but can that thing nail the 2-3 shift.
Did you guys adjust the stoppers to be just short of the stick or just touching the stick?
The shifter is kind of noisy but has amazing shift engagment.
