Wow the east coast is as bad as it is in the OC.

I almost died when I saw an ARCO go to $3.04 this morning. They are usually the lowest in town (and I usually don't go there because their pumps have those nozzle covers that make the fuel keep shutting off when you try to fill. I usually end up at a Mobil or a Chevron....and those are in the $3.09 range.

Acccck!

Here at the no-name brand station is Mission Hills (LA county in the San Fernando Valley) $3.05 for 87 and $3.25 for 91. This is the local cheap spot, but I've gotten bad gas there before so I don't go there.

Gas prices are way to high. Fortunately for me, I drive my GT for pleasure only, so I still flog the sucker and enjoy every gallon I waste.

It's $3+ here around NYC for regular.

How do I feel about it? It sucks ba**s but I'll be going high-octane next week regardless.

Better to BURN OUT, then to FADE AWAY! YAAAHHH!

floatin around 3 bux for 87 octane in most of TX. I've seen as low as 2.79 but it was 86 octane!!! Didn't know there was such a thing. I heard 3.50 by the end of the summer. I'm betting we'll be hitting the 5 dollar mark within 18-24 months. I don't regret my purchase but I can't leave the dash readout on the MPG setting because it breaks my heart.
