Default Carwash

I always take my car to the carwash to clean it. Is it good enough to just do that or do I need to do it myself once in a while? People say I should at least wax it.

While I take my Lincoln LS to the car wash I will only hand wash the Mustang. I would not recomend taking it to the car wash. Find a spray wash where you can do it yourself if you do not have a place at home.

Swirl marks? The carwash we have here is touchless. Just the water hits the car

The Mr clean auto dry is a great product.
Just be careful not to leave the water running to long or you'll changing those cartridges every other wash.

A touch less car wash will not “Clean” your car properly. The “dirt” needs to be wiped off, especially in harder to reach places and the rims. Also the dryer at the end has rolers that touch your car.

I spent between one to two hours clean my car in and out. At the end I have a nice shining car and I can take pride in the looks I get [8D]

The touchless car wash is good for after you have done a thorough hand wash and get a little dusty. But 06tungsten is +1... it will only blow off surface dust, real cleaning has to be done by hand. GIVE it the LOVE it deserves.

Ours don't have rollers. It just has two giant hair dryers that blow at it lol But yeah, I noticed the rims still don't get "clean"

I sustained a little bit of damage to the rear quarter of my black GT going through a touchless. Very high pressure water. I only do by hand now. This w/e I'm going to look for a leaf blower for drying.
