this post is to our new gm fanboyz looking to instigate issues. i want both of you to keep in mind that we have dedicated gm members, a moderator of this section has a 11 second dd ss, i have an fbody and one of our site mods has a ls2 goat and another site mod runs a dodge. i think of most mustang dedicated sites we are probably one of the more diverse. please keep this in mind while your are laying judgement on this site and its members.

2 weeks ago, i tested 6.49 on my 0-60 according to my Gtech performance PRO. i had my TCS on and i burnt rubber for about a whole sec. last night, i did another run w/o TCS and less wheelspin, got a time of 5.48. its bone stock and automatic and the only difference last night was that i added 20% window tints, hehe. cant wait to put my SCT to test next week.

A stock GT 5M, on stock Pirelli's should run around 5.5 0-60 times. This talk of 0-60 times below 5 secs stock is crazy. Sounds good in magazines but just won't happen in real life on the street. Just saw a Muscle Car Shootout on TV and they tested 7 classic, fully restored cars from the day. Winner of the 0-60 accel times on stock tires was the 69, Mustang Boss 429 at 5 secs flat. the torque on that car was right at 500 ft lb's and the weight was almost exactly what our cars are. Do you really think, even with better tires, we're going to beat 500 ft lbs torque?. No way.
