Air Filter Replacement

RE: Air Filter Replacement
If you aren't doing a cold air intake kit, then at least spend the $50 or so for a K&N replacement filter that will last forever. Also look in the inlet tube that attaches to the airbox and take out the pre-catalytic trap (will be round with a honeycomb looking filter) if it hasn't already been removed.

I bought a new air filter for my 2005 Mustang GT yesterday, and I plan on replacing the old one this weekend. Are there any good tips that I should follow for replacing my air filter?

RE: Air Filter Replacement
I just bought a simple replacement for now. I will be getting a C&L CAI at the end of the summer, but until then, I just need a replacement. This sounds simple enough, so I may just replace it tonight. My Mustang is near 12,000 miles, so I am just doing a routine filter replacement. Thanks for the advice.
