You can buy my ATI procharger. Its all new and all parts unopened except that big 7 foot long box it all came in. I'm dumping it for $4,000 to finish my stage 3 roush.

Its a intercooled centrifugal system. Its mirror polished. I don't know why I bought it in the first place to tell you the truth, but my loss is going to be someone elses gain. I think after shipping I paid $5,300.

Well down to basics if you low end power go for a positive displacement blower like a saleen or roush and if you want higher end power go for a blower like mine. Its on eBaymotors if you want to check it out.

from what i understand many people on this forum have the saleen and are very satisfied with it. I like the kenne bell myself but both seem to post good gains and maintain reliability.

I have been looking into them and i really like the prochargers and the kenne bell but i dont want to have to spend much extra to get the engine ready for more boost.

Thats right. If you get over 425 Hp roughly, you need to start with internals- Pistons and rods and crank- oh my! I suggest Salene or Roush. I have Roush and love it.Maintenance free, 22000 miles on the car this year alone, full warranty, and just dynoed at 378rwhp.

I am waiting for the fordracing/whipple kit to come out. I spoke with whipple yesterday. Fully intercooled it is going to be 5 grand. With a gt-500 fuel pump and the larger injectors all included. A ford tune ready to be up-loaded. And all the other good stuff. They are claiming 475 rwhp with no engine problems. They also claim ford is most likley honor the cars warrentee and can be installed by anyone and still have the warrentee. I want that it writing in the future if I do it, but that is another story. He claimes they worked with ford very closley to make this kit as OE as possible for those that couldent get a gt-500 but want that performance level.

It is going to be 50 states legal too. And from what I understand from whipple, it is a much cleaner and easier install. He CLAIMED.... No cutting/resplice of the alternator harness, no harness work, much cleaner bolt on and will be most similar to a ford GT or Gt-500 unit. Supercharger lifespan they claim is OE. Just like ford GT (can go 100k miles +). First supercharger oil change he said is not due till 100k miles.

If it is all true, it sounds really good to me. And whats nice about it is that ford has used this setup as OE already. And it is approved by ford. So at least someone larger is backing the product.

They told me that the kits will be out in 6-8 weeks. But who knows for sure. Also, I wouldent want to be the first guy to install one and grenade his motor. Sounds like alot of HP and torque to me on a stock bottom end. But if ford configured it, maybe it is ok??
