Default Gear installation in suburbs of Chicago

I was thinking of going 3.90's but too many people complained about noise, but then maybe it was the shop who installed them, I'm not sure.

So, I've decided to order FFRP 4.10 gears. I need a reliable knows his sh*t, knows how to set lash and shims and generally rocks at rear end setups out here in the burbs of Chicago. Who knows, maybe this place knows how to make 3.90's quiet, maybe I can try them anyway.

Performance Plus, in Madison,WI. did mine, he will only use the Ford gear. He charged me 558.00 tax included. I have had no problems.
He works on nothing but Fords, the Ford dealership in Madison recommended him.

Damn, Wisconsin?? Any whine with the gears? If they are that good, perhaps I should go with them, but now if I go S/C I'll probably go 3.73...

I have no whine with mine, I called Sutton performance, they wanted to keep the car for two days and work it into there schedule, I'm not going to leave my car for two days. I then e-mailed them to make sure the person on the phone gave me the right info, I never got a response back. Performance Plus did it in three hours. I was there at 9:am and on the way home at noon.
