rusted differential and drive shaft!!!
I don't know if antone as the same problem, but my rear axle differential and the drive shaft are all corroded. I thought it was the enviroment but I look at a newer mustang and I notice that is not painted.

The sooner you get to it the easier it is....... I know, I'm cheating with the alum driveshaft.

RE: rusted differential and drive shaft!!!
Well i have had my Mustang now for about three weeks and the day i brought it home i noticed that the entire rear end assmebly and axle was bare metal no cating or paint of any kind. So i took it upon myself to jack the car up and paint everything under there. I still have to do the drive shaft though.
