Installing 4.10s?

RE: Installing 4.10s?
Is this your first time installing a set of gears? cause installing gears is not an easy task if your not experienced.
Do you have a dial indicator, a three tooth gear puller with at least a 6" spread for the pinion collar and a inch pound wrench for the drag on the pionion when you crush the crush sleeve?
If this is your first time then I would find somebody who knows how to do it and help him. JMO

RE: Installing 4.10s?
I found a Ford tech that does work on the side. He is the "Rear-End" got to guy at the dealer. Man, that is some moniker to explain... But anyway... he quoted me $150.00 for installing the FFRP 4.10's and shims. He has done several other cars for our local club and it seems that they all swear by him... I don't think I would try this on my own, the right tools, the right know-how and the right environment. Yup, take it to a local pro for the work.. Better to experiment and practice on something else.
