I recommend
C&L CAI or JLT II CAI *
Diablo or SCT Tuner ( Brentspeed or EVO Tune) also a Customer Dyno Tune *
Steeda Underdrive Pulleys or Roush UDP *
JBA Headers and X-Pipe
For Easier tunning have a bung installed before the cats to monitor A/F ratio using AEM O2 Wideband sensor.
Remember there is little or no gains with an axle-back exhaust, I wonder what the stock mufflers would sound like with the headers and X-pipe???? hmmm

(*)The reason I list two different makes is that I don't want to seem biased to one brand. both brands are very close in your power gains

heres the best way to do it. I M O

JLT series 2 intake-roughly 300 bucks, about 20 hp with a good tune
SCT xcal2-about 250
steeda UDP's-180 bucks-about 10 hp
JBA or Hooker long tube headers-500 bucks, about 20 hp
o/r midpipe-any brand is good, not more than 200 bucks. i reccomend an o/r h from pypes for optimal sound/hp balance.
axlebacks of your choice, this is not a significant HP gain and is mostly for sound.
BBK throttle body-13HP

another way to get a quick HP gain is to port your heads. it's about 1500 bucks from livernois motorsports, a BONE STOCK 05 GT with just the heads made 312 to the rears, a roughly 42 HP gain. if you wanna put down 350 to the wheels, its as simple as LT headers, CAI, UDP's, and ported heads.

SLP makes a performance package, i believe its about 1300 bucks. it includes their CAI, LT headers, x pipe, axlebacks, UDP's, and a Diablosport predator. its supposed HP at the crank is 350; however, i believe if you handpick these parts, you will be able to get more HP.

last but not least to make the most of these mods, you should go to a performance shop and get a custom dyno tune. canned tunes will work well, but to make the most of your mods, get a dyno tune.

hope this helps, good luck with your bolt on fun

JBA long tube headers and off road h-pipe with stock mufflers are much louder than you would expect. Also a bit too raspy from 2000 to 3000 rpm. I strongly recommend a catted pipe if you don't want to attract attention.

To answer 05gt123's question. I have the JBA long tubes, JBA O/R H-pipe, JLT Cold air, Brenspeed 91 tune, and Steeda pulleys and I gained exactly 47 hp and 47 ft lbs of torque with stock mufflers.

Well for about $500.00 you can get the 75hp to 175hp shot Zex Nitrous Kit. You can use the 75hp Shot on the stock motor. For another $300.00 you can get the Airaid CAI No tune needed for 17hp.

BBK throttle body-13HP
I've heard nothing but bad things about the throttle bodies that are currently out on the market. And even the people that have said they have had gains that I've seen said it was after hours on a dyno, and what they did get out of it was less than half of that.

The BBKs are not even out yet, (tommorrow I believe). I have a aftermarket TB and I didn't notice a thing. It *is* a very nice looking piece though.
