Default Axel back exhaust systems

I have read through some of the other exhaust posts but they start talking about headers and full tubes, X-pipes, H-pipes, etc. I'm just curios about axel backs for now.

I have a 05 GT vert with a Steeda intake and a custom dyno tune. She runs pretty damn good but I wanted to augment her rumble a bit. I don't want obnoxious or deafening loudness, I'm just looking for something to give her more of the deep growl I'm not stock sound.

In my opinion, most axel backs probably sound more or less the same at the end of the day on the same car, but maybe you guys can shed your experiences with them and let me know what you have and what it sounds like. I'm also really interested in cars that are more or less stock, not S/C'd, juiced, or modded off the hook.

Thanks

I just installed the Borla stingers on my GT this weekend and love them. They are to loud for some people but to me it could be a little louder at WOT but thats why I'll be running an O/R H-pipe or Prochamber. If you have an auto see if someone will give you their stock axlebacks from a manual GT. They are slightly louder.

if u can deal with a .mov file (Quicktime) pm me your email address and I'll send you a very short clip of an otherwise stock exhaust with MAC axlebacks. exactly the sound i want at startup, idle and wot.

btw, you'll get drone at 2,000rpm with MAC axlebacks, but such is life.

I have magna flo, and it had a fantastic rumble, till I removed the cats and went with a full exhaust change. Now it is a little too loud. Nah
