I'm a new mustang owner as well and I'm 18 and well my mustang kind of ressembles yours but in two other classic colors... I think blue and white is still alot better color combination than I have, but where I live there aren't to many red gt's so I had to... and well to set it apart from the rest I order a pair of projector headlights, halo fog lamps, and I put some led under carriage light kit...

What?!! You feel old? I'll be forty this year and my '05 is the first new car I have ever had. My dad quit paying for my crap like 20 years ago![sm=smiley36.gif]

27 here and it took 2 years in Iraq to pay for this car.

I hope some of you younger drivers think about this...your car is a privilage and even if you didn't foot the bill someone did. I would have wrecked this car when I was 16/17, but having paid for it with blood sweat and tears (literally) I will never take it for granted or risk losing it in some stupid road race. If you're racing this car anywhere but the track you should have your head examined, and car taken from you.

That's been my impression of some of the younger drivers here. I raced this or that from a stoplight....blah blah blah. DON'T BE THAT GUY/GIRL!!!!!

learn to drive fast at the track and drive responsibly on the road.

K...flame away

I don't know if it's the same, but i bought my kid a 66' stang when he was 13. The car was a beater and had to be rebuilt. The deal was if he was willing to learn how and did the work he would have a VERY nice car when he got to be old enough to drive. He got a job and bought another car, he stuck with the stang and finished it and only drives it once in a blue moon. I have to believe the respect he has for both of his cars is very high. When you build it or buy it it has a LOT of value to it money can't buy. I hope this kid is the same. I would hate to see someone be given such a wonderfull car and not show it the respect it deserves.
