I wimped out on racing a vette.
I was on I-90 expressay, when a older vette maybe late 90's pulled up to me and wanted to race bad, he downshifted next to me and was waiting for me. I casually just cruised at 70 until he ripped forward since he new i didn't want to race.
could I of given him a run? He had an exhaust, thats all i know of. Didn't look like a z06 but i'm not to familar with vettes either.

how modded are you? ive beaten c5 vettes a couple times, even a z06. i tied with a c6 (regular vette) also. im pretty decently modded though. it takes most bolt-ons and gears along with great drivin to hold up well .

i've heard stories of people thinking they are gonna get stomped on but in the end...they ended up doing the stomping! You shoulda' gave him a run for his money!!!

I would have races him. Even if you lost, it would've been good practice and you could analyze the way you drive and correct any errors. Besides, it would have been damn fun. =)

If you are beating a C6 Vette, it's because the Vette's owner can't drive. We all love our Mustang's, but the best NA with mods are at 320 rwhp. The C6, bone stock is 345-350 rwhp, with more torque. The C6 weighs 300 lbs less and has wider rear tires. It should be no contest. Stock C6's regularly run very low 12's; for NA Mustang's, mid 12's is outstanding.
