Default Intake filter

Can the filter inside the intake tube be removed on a stock intake?

If you're talking about the trap it can be removed no problem. You have an '05 right?

Then chances are very very good you don't have it. When was the car built?

I just pulled the tube off of the mass air and I didn't see it. Where were they installed? Between the mass air and the throttle body, or between the mass air and the air filter?
