I ran my 05 gt without the mufflers on it the other day and it sounded awesome. Now, I want the SLP Loud mouths, but those straight pipes are $330. That's rediculous for nothing more than what they are. Does anyone know about another place to find another set of straight pipes that aren't as much $$$?

lmperformance.com has them on sale for $288. You are really paying for the great looking tips that sound awesome.

You want the sound you gotta pay for the pipes. I wouldnt trade mine for anything.

That sounds like a good price ($288). I checked into just getting two pipes bent to fit the exhaust clamps and have a nice set of tips welded onto them and I got prices from $150-200. I can't get onto imperformance.com now for some reason, so I can't look at the loud mouths. What size tips are on them? I would love to have at least 3 1/2 inch tips.

Check on Ebay. I bought mine for $288. LMPerformance took over two weeks to ship them though. I was pissed but it was all worth it once I put them on.

I just had a local shop fab up some straight pipe with gorgeous chrome tips. Loudmouth copies for $150 installed.

I had this idea for my exhaust and new rear bumper and it was going to include a straight pipe SLP copy basically, but I really wanted the same sound. If you had a sound clip of what your sounds like that would be awesome. Thanks!

Sure,........although I have never done it before, I will see if I can do it tonight. I can say that it sounds exactly like loudmouths, from what I have heard of them.

The slp sound is awesome i just bought the pypes offroad h pipe and i am putting that on soon as it gets here its supposed to be the baddest exhaust sound with the two combined!?
