ok, i have a 06 GT and just ordered borla stingers cat back, jba long tubes headers with the jba low restriction cats and h pipe. i already have a c&l cai with the SCT tuner tuned to 93 octane.

Talk to your tuner about getting an updated tune for your new exhaust.

I would think that around 20 HP, maybe more, would be reasonable with a canned tune. +20 HP should be easy with a Dyno tune.

well american thunder is doing the install and they said the would do the tune as well

you can expect a hole in your pocket and a trip to the tire shop after one week of having them installed.

Yes, definitely. With the CAI, tuner, exhaust, headers. You should see at least 30hp. The sound of the engine roaring and tires screeching will be an addictive sound.

I built a simulation model for the 05/06 mustang to estimate 0-60, 60ft, 1/8 mile, and 1/4. (yeah, I am a geek).

Here is what my model says.

bone stock:

0-60 4.84
60 ft 2.02
1/8 8.69
1/4 13.53

cai, tune, lth and exhaust
0-60 4.52
60 ft 2.02
1/8 8.48
1/4 13.09


you could get into the 12's pretty easy if you added drag radials and gears to your combo.

What does your model say for
MAC CAI
4.10 Gears
Full exaust (MAC) with long tubes
Diablo predator 93 Tune?
