Default RE: 06 shift *****

I think im gonna get that one, but once again heres my question, i tried to get the **** off and it seems like its attached to the boot? Or am i just not doing something right?
Just as Humboldt said, the shift boot actually recesses in about a quarter inch at the base of the stock shift ****. Should pop straight down, with a little persuasion. The MGW replacement collar makes the reinstall a snap. Very clean.

Good Luck,
Mike

Roush makes a billet one with or without rubber grips mine took 5 min to install and the boot went back over it just like stock
