Default One Piece Driveshaft

Has anyone out there tried this one piece aluminum drive shaft available from Ford Racing Parts for a Ford Ranger, then shortening it to fit an 06 mustang? I believe you have to use an 03 Cobra Pinion flange to make it work. If so what kind of HP will hold up too??? The JPC is a few more bucks than what I wanted to spend and this setup after shortening and balancing the shaft seems the way to go, for the bang for the buck.

What was your total cost, including parts and sending it to a driveshaft shop?

Total cost, for everything, including install, for me was $350.
