Default 06 mustang gt

My brother is looking into buying a new 06 mustang gt 5 speed coupe, I also want to buy one to keep the 5.0 as a weekend car, is this a good idea?

if u want to do it, then YES. how modded is the 5.0? garage queen? either way the 05 GT is an EXCELLENT daily driver, i reccomend 5 speed . a MANUAL 5 speed.

I would keep the new '06 as the weekend car, and the old 5.0 as the daily driver.

If you are going to mod the 5.0 and turn it into a road warrior for the weekends, why not get a new V6 as a DD? Personally, I dont see the need for a GT as DD and 5.0 for weekends, when you could just use either one all the time. Save the gas and insurance when you need to go places and not go fast. But its your choice, you know whats best for you. And no, bullitts havnt been made since 02.

No they're not making Bullit Mustangs right now but rumor has it some special edtions should be dropping over the next couple of years. But I'd love a Bullit stang myself.[sm=shades.gif]

No, don't do it, the new Mustangs suck. Have you looked into a nice Civic?

the 5.0 is low mileage and id like to see it stay that way. How well does the new gt respond to mods?

When i got my car, the old one got the boot... A stock GT is so much faster then a stock 5.0; you might want to let your bro get the Gt and drive that whenever and save up for the next mustang. I'm sure there be a na 5.4 or a DOHC 4.6 (BULLIT, MACH 1, ETc)

too have two new GT's outside and an old 5.0 in..doesnt make much sense too me; just what i think.
