Way to go Tres! [sm=icon_rofl.gif] When I was a second grader I use to have a 3-speed stingaray (bicycle) that had a top speed of 90 miles per hour. That was back in 1968 and my legs were the same length. Those were the days my friend.

The fastest car that I have seen on this site is tim's from kenetic speed shop. His car runs mid 10's on the stock motor with a saleen blower. That is the fastest I have seen on this site on the stock motor. Bear in mind it is a gutted race car.

still stock shortblock?.......are you gonna spray too? i hope so. i would like to just see how fast someone can go until that thing blows. i believe 9.90's are possible on the stock s/b with 15+psi and a big jug 175hp or so. i would be cool to have one run if it lived through it. at my weight i'd probably need 750-800 at the crank to do it. can a stock shortblock last for 10 seconds under load at 800hp......??????? i don't have the racing budget i once had so i just can't do it now.....i wouldn't waste much time on the dyno either just enough to tune it with the nitrous and lower timing way down. seperate fuel system for the n2o and go with a enrichment on the fuel side to help the stock injectors out at high boost. i think it might live for 1-3 passes but thats about it.

I ran a 8.30 at 86 with a about a 70 shot of nitrous, and 95 deg weather. I have a smaller nitrous jet so it runs a little more rich because my cars not tuned. I guess a 8.30 is about 13 flat or so. That sucks for my mods but like I said my cars not tuned so it doesn't launch for ****. But I'm getting there a 125 shot and my CAI I haven't put on yet with a tune and 7.60's here we come! Is that a horrible time? I mean I ran 9.22 completely stock and it's my first 5 speed.

Remember justin burcham made a 9.86 pass on the stock motor before it went so it is possible. At the tiime, it was 16 psi procharger with 100 shot on top. Gutted on slicks.
