Diablosport Predator question???

Diablosport Predator question???
I just got a Predator (for my '06 GT Auto Coupe) and when I looked thru the potential tunes, there is one that says 91 and there is one that just says Performance Tune with no octane recommendation. There is nothing that says 93 octane tune. Is the tune labeled Performance Tune the highest performance set up... or am I just missing the 93 octane tune from my unit. It seems to have the latest software installed and works as it should otherwise. Anyone know about this thing. I can call DiabloSport, but not until next Wed...(after the holiday), so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ted

RE: Diablosport Predator question???
I'm glad to hear it because the tune works well and I didn't want to have to worry about it. If I'm a liitle lean in the 5000 rpm range (tiny, brief detonation under hard acceleration), I should richen the mixture for that area, right? I also want to raise the rev shift points, rev limiter and speed limiter. Is it safe to do all of these things if done in moderation?? Also, has anyone with an auto worked with the shift stiffness... if so, what result?
Thanks

RE: Diablosport Predator question???
If you were using 87 octane with the stock tune, then did you use up almost all of it before filling up with 93 octane, and installing the Predator tune?
If so and you still hear pinging, then try a different brand of gas. Amoco, Mobil, and Sunoco are recommended.
If that does not eliminate the pinging, then retard the timing in the 4000-7000 rpm range by a degree or 2. Do not attempt to enrichen the A/F ratio with the Predator. That has to be done with a load on the engine, meaning that it must be done either on a dyno, or with a wideband A/F meter while the car is being driven.

RE: Diablosport Predator question???
I don't think it's the gas... and it is only a very minor ping and only at about 5100-5200rpm when I'm WOT. I think I'll try to retard one degree and reset the rev limiter and speed limiter. I'm going to get a dyno-tune in a few weeks. I definitely notice more power with the 93 octane tune. I now have a CAI, axle-back exhaust and a Predator tune... what should be next??
