RE: flowmasters
I have the flowmaster axle back set up and I barely notice any drone at all. I get it slightly around 2000 RPM but it is way less drone than any of the flows that I have had for any other car. In normal around the town driving it is a nice deep sound, but when you get on it, it sounds sick(in a good way).

The axle backs replace the stock mufflers at the back of the exhaust system. You can swap them out in 1-2 hours.
Just saw your update, first, you should be able to get them for less than 500. The include tips, and hangers that are welded on..........

Get the axlebacks. They fit right on, and dont forget, you have the tips to deal with too. No prob with mufflers designed to fit on there. It would probly cost near as much to have mufflers cobbled on there than to just get the right ones. I dont have a drone problem, either. Ive noticed that they are a bit loud during the breakin period. After that, nice and smooth.
