No apology is needed, you talk better than most from South Carolina and its not your language. I say you will burn his *** alive. Let me know what happens please.
What's wrong with the way I talk?

I dont know ...my roommate has an 06 SRT-8 300C and bone stock its been 12.6x @ 110 mph. They are pretty quick!!
i didn't know they were that fast. ****, they weigh 4000 lbs
The 06's are a little quicker since they have the 6.1L in them. My roommates went 12.8x@108 with a mere 400 miles on it! They are definately badass cars. That thing accelerates, brakes, and handles amazingly. You would never guess it was as big and heavy a car from its performance. These times are with a bone stock car, still on the 20" wheels with run flat tires too.
The SRT-8's have always had 6.1L Hemi's, that's what makes them SRT's. 300C R/T's have the 5.7L.

http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...ecs_price.html

2006 300C srt8

Test Data
Acceleration, sec to mph
0-30 2.0
0-40 2.9
0-50 3.8
0-60 4.9
0-70 6.1
0-80 7.7
0-90 9.6
0-100 11.7
1/4 mile, sec @ mph 13.2 @ 108.1
Braking, 100-0 mph, ft 317
Braking, 60-0 mph, ft 113

the car is fast, and brakes really well (113ft is crazy). I think you should be able to take your dad off the line; but as the speeds get higher; i would think he'll start gaining.

The Charger SRT-8 is very similar to the 300C, yes? Just a few minutes ago, I was getting on the interstate and there was a really slow black Taurus on the top of the ramp, and a brand new with drive out tag Charger SRT-8. I have a 2006 Mustang GT. I knew he was going to go for it as soon as he could, so would I around a really slow car. He punched it and so did I right after him. The cars ran almost exaclty the same until about 70 or so and he very very slowly started to creep. He moved about a few inches, we hit 80, then we stopped. I am very impressed by the ability of a 300 hp car to stay with a 425 hp car, one that costs 15 to 20 thousand dollars less I might add. I only have 3100 miles on it, and it makes me happier every day. Just thought that was interesting to share. [8D]
