Regarding Windveil Blue and racing stripe
Im new to these forums, and I am soon to own a used 2005 GT with 14000 miles, and in great shape. The color is windveil blue, and I would like all you guys' opinion on whether or not I should add racing stripes to it. SHould I leave it as is, or put some stripes on it? If so what color would look best? Thanks for reading.

RE: Regarding Windveil Blue and racing stripe
I love the WVBlue as is, no stripes. That is one beauty of a car.
Spend the money on what will get you more bang for the buck,.....go for, at least a CAI and custom tune.
That is, unless the looks of the car is what's getting you banged!! Then, by all means, go for some stripes, lots more chrome, upgrade the interior, and a REALLY loud exhaust!!
All the Best,
Mark

I honestly cant remember ever seeing a winveil blue with a stripe on it that I liked... maybe its just me, or maybe the windveil just isnt made to stripe. I think one of the main reasons why is.. its hard to find a contrasting color that doesnt look horrible... Like with white, black, silver, blue, red, and even yellow... you can put a white or black stripe on almost all of those and it will always look good..

IMO, satin silver is best, but I think no stripe is even better.

Great link to the stripe painter...I had that saved at one point, but had lost the link. Thanks, richmod.
Just my $.02, but I think Windveil benefits from a little zip, and would be improved by stripes. I vote white (1st choice) or silver (2nd choice). More importantly, good luck and enjoy the car!
