I had the same problem when I bought my car. After a while it was just to damn annoying and I made them figure out why it was doing that. That sound is NOT NORMAL, nor should be able to be heard when driving. My car was in the shop for 3 days they ripped apart the whole A/C, I could here it over my radio with the top down. Finally, they found a TSB and replaced the clutch in the compressor...and voila problem solved. You can't even here the A/C running at a dead stop with no music on, It's the way it should be. I can't find the TSB, but i have it in my car, which consiquintly is in the shop for the fuel pump air bubble problem.....ughhhh If i didnt fall in love with my car everytime I looked at it, this baby would be gone by now.
