Monthly Payments question to current owners
Hello everyone,
I'm a new member and i have a question.
I'm thinking about buying a new 2007 Mustang GT and was wondering approx. how much would my monthly payments be
To those of you that own a new mustang, do you mind letting me know how much do you pay a month and for how many years?
I don't want lease, I'll be buying it. I'm from Los Angeles, California and have very good credit. I would like to finance it for 5 years.
My down payment would probably be $2,000 ...maybe $4,000
I don't want to go to the dealer and ask because they would never let me leave.
How much would a new 2007 GT come out to and what can i expect my monthly payments to be?
Sorry if it sounds confusing,; I'm a girl! []
PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THANKS!

RE: Monthly Payments question to current owners
I think your best bet would be to know @ the price of the car. Then go to your bank and ask them what your payment would be with your down payment. How ever I think Ford is offering some special financing on the Mustangs. Just don't be in to big of hurry to buy. Remember you can make more by shaking your head NO than saying Yes.
Good luck[sm=patriot.gif]

try this calculator - http://www.dod.mil/mapsite/carpay.html with msrp of $26,455, $2,000 down and a 60 month term your payments come to... it depends on the interest rate! [sm=bling.gif] anywhere from 450 to 600 I would think depending on the interest rate.

I used to sell cars, and with regular bank financing over a 60 month term you should expect about 20 a month per 1k financed, including fees. So a 27k with 2k down will be right around $500 a month for 60 months at a conventional rate of 6.5-7%. It's always an estimate before you check into ext. warranties and blah blah blah.
Hard to say if there's much room for negotiation on an 07 GT, and I'm almost positive there is no special financing or incentives for an 07.
Good luck

bought mine for $29k out the door, taxes, options, etc. included.
traded in my 03 rsx-s for $12,500, so i had to finance $16,500. the interest rates ford offers now are TERRIBLE, i got 8.99% and that's with a 688 credit score. that means i pay $377/mo for 5 years.
i then got the 100,000 mile warranty and wheel/tire warranty, so now i pay $417/mo. i want to pay it off in 4 years, so i'm gonna pay $480/mo for 4 years.
good luck with such a ****ty down payment, you should consider the v6 as it's more in your price range. don't forget tax, title, license, destination etc. which ups the price $3k usually. plus any options if you want (which you will!)

i paid 28000 for mine, put $1000 down got the crap ford interest rate and my payment is $525. i plan on re financing with my credit union here in a few months just to get some more stuff on my credit report. oh i forgot to mention, i made a $5000 payment about a month after i bought the car because the dealer wouldnt give me crap for my Gen1 Lightning on trade so i held on to it and sold it myself.

Mine (an 06 ) was like 28G's and some change.
I put 8 grand down financed it for 5 yrs at 5.9% and my payments are 425.00 a month.
That's with perfect credit and an 800 FICO score.

Thanks everyone for the info.
Is there a major difference between the 2006 Gt's and the 2007?
Because i was looking at my local dealer online throught the ford website and they have a lot of offers for the 2006 models like 0% APR for the first 36 months and $1,500 customer cash.
I might end up getting a 2006.

Almost no difference. The interior is a little different if you really look. The silver dash now has a carbon fiber look to it. other than that they are the same. Happy shopping.
