GT 350 confirmed by Ford.. So no BOSS?
Ford announced the shelby gt350 which is a retail version of the GT-H.
Only 325 hp people. Is this what is to fill the gap between the gt and gt500?
No more Boss??? IF so this is a SAD substitute.. 25 hp more.... can we say save thousands and buy something as simple as CAI on our GT's?
If there is to be no more than this to bridge the gap.. I'll be PISSED, and I'll think Ford is
lazy.

Really, they are only calling it a Shelby GT, not 350. thats still open. Dont know about the Boss, it'd be sweet to see a little larger NA engine, but time will tell. Check out autoblog.com or i think motortrend.com had the same thing on the 07 Shelby GT. comes in black or white, both with silver stripes, and you can get a manual or auto. i think motortrend.com said it had everything the GT-H's did, but didnt know about the read end.

I read that too... But if this is all they are doing to bridge that gap from gt to gt500 I will be sooooo pissed. BTW yeah its called Shelby Gt but if you look on the side where the stripes are it says GT350... (dunno why .. especially with 325hp lol)

If you get your stock GT tested you will find we are running similar numbers already, about 315 -320hp. With a CAI and tune we put down over 340hp to the crank, some closer to 350hp. Just paying for the name I guess.

RE: GT 350 confirmed by Ford.. So no BOSS?
Ford is trying to repay Carroll Shelby for the years of absence they had besides, they don't have to retool or anything to produce the Shelby GT since they already have everything in place from the Hertz lineup. All they have to do is to delete the H from the car. My bet is that Shelby will be in charge of the Specialty cars. So we just might see a Shelby Boss, Shelby Mach or even a Shelby Cobra.

I read the same thing.

On a related note, how is it that the GT-H gets 25 HP out of the FR kit but when MM&FF tested the same kit they lost HP?
