Bad idea. Even if you had it out of site (which I know you do) if that thing gets stolen you are so screwed. Heat cant be good either. Just be careful if you do.

just to be safe, i wouldn't keep it in my car. unless you REALLY NEED TO and reflash it every 5 minutes, just keep it at home. if u need to keep it in ur car, put it in the trunk or glove compartment.

I think i'll just leave it at home. I have another question.
Can brenspeed email tunes? I was supposed to get 89, 91, 93 tunes, but instead I got 87, 89, and 91. I'd sure like to try that 93 everyones talking about without having to send the sct back or worse have to flash back to the stock tune and put my stock airbox back on. I emailed them, but I guess they don't work on Saturday, must be nice!

You can keep it in the trunk. That device should not have any heat sensitive electronics in it. Just dont program with it while its smoking hot otherwise it could crash in the middle of a burn and who knows what happens then.
